This week’s WWE NXT brought the fallouts from the Deadline premium live event in the main event of which we saw a shocking championship change. The new challenger for the NXT Women’s Title went on to dethrone the champion in that match. The New Day was in attendance at the show while future top superstar Lyra Valkyria made her debut on the show that took place at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida. Check out the results,
– WWE NXT opened with Roxanne Perez celebrating her Women’s Iron Survivor Challenge Match win at Deadline. Men’s Iron Survivor Challenge Match winner Grayson Waller also joined her from the stand and claimed that she didn’t stand a chance against NXT Women’s Champion Mandy Rose.
NXT Champion Bron Breakker interrupted, plugged in Perez’s future success before chasing Grayson out of the arena. Mandy Rose suddenly came from behind and attacked Roxanne from behind. Roxanne then claimed her title shot, later that night to which Mandy quickly agreed.
WWE Raw: Alexa Bliss Goes Into Trance; Teases Alliance With Bray Wyatt
– In the opening match, WWE NXT North American Champion Wes Lee defeated Channing Stacks Lorenzo (with Tony D’Angelo). Lee pinned Lorenzo after connecting with a Pele Kick. Dijak then appeared to have a staredown with Lee. Manwhile, D’Angelo attacked Lee from behind and put him down with a lariat to the back of his neck.
– Toxic Attraction (Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne) vs. Ivy Nile and Tatum Paxley ended in a DQ after WWE NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions Katana Chance and Kayden Carter joined both teams at ringside and started brawling.
Top WWE Raw Superstar Spotted Kissing Adult Film Star
– Odyssey Jones (with Edris Enofe and Malik Blade) defeated Von Wagner (with Mr. Stone), next. Enofe delivered a kick to Wagner, allowing Jones to deliver a crossbody for the win.
– Ikemen Jiro defeated Javier Bernal in a short match after a Hurricanrana and running knee combo for the win. Scrypts attacked Jiro after the match and fled with his jacket.
WWE NXT Results (13/12/22): The New Day appeared
– New WWE NXT tag team champions The New Day – Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods were out to celebrate their title match win. Pretty Deadly alongside Brooks Jensen and Josh Briggs interrupted the session wanting a title match for next week. The champions granted the shot to Briggs and Jensen.
– JD McDonagh defeated Brutus Creed (with Julius Creed) after Indus Sher – Sanga and Veer Mahaan distracted Brutus. This allowed JD to pin Brutus after delivering two belly-to-back suplexes.
– Lyra Valkyria defeated Amari Miller in her debut match after hitting her opponent with a top-rope Frog Splash move.
– Duke Hudson (with Chase U members) defeated Damon Kemp after hitting him with a belly-to-belly suplex followed by a big boot to the face.
WWE NXT Results (13/12/22): Mandy Rose drops her title
– In the main event of WWE NXT, Roxanne Perez defeated Mandy Rose (c) to win the NXT Women’s Championship. Perez kicked out of the Kiss of Rose move leading to frustrations to Rose as she started arguing with the referee. After a quick roll-up, Roxanne hit the Pop Rox finisher to pin Mandy. Perez celebrated her title match win with Booker T to end the episode.
