This week’s WWE NXT had a tag team main event match on the card featuring the NXT Women’s Champion and her challengers. NXT tag team champions were in the house to get into a brawl with their challengers. Also, Carmelo Hayes competed in the opening tag team match on the January 17 episode that took place at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida. Check out the results,
– Apollo Crews and Axiom defeated Carmelo Hayes and Trick Williams in the first match. Axiom neutralized Trick with the Golden Ration finisher while back in the ring Crews rolled up Hayes for the pin to win.
– Jacy Jayne and Gigi Dolin of Toxic Attraction appeared for a promo session as they bragged about getting a shot at the WWE NXT Women’s Championship. Lyra Valkyria interrupted and she was ganged up by Dolin and Jayne. Eventually, Roxanne Perez ran out to the ring to make the save.
– Sol Ruca defeated Alba Fyre after Isla Dawn provided a distraction. Ruca hit her Sol-Snatcher maneuver for the win.

– Grayson Waller promised to win the WWE NXT Championship at NXT Vengeance Day from Bron Breakker, no matter what.
– Gallus (Wolfgang and Mark Coffey) defeated Josh Briggs and Brooks Jensen (with Fallon Henley) in the next tag team match. Jensen suffered an injury during the match, leading Kiana James to come out and check on him. Gallus then easily defeated Briggs, using the numbers’ game.
– Thea Hail (with Andre Chase and Duke Hudson) defeated Valentina Feroz in a short match by using her Sports Machine finisher after Feroz denied to take help from Elektra Lopez.

WWE NXT Results (17/01/23): The New Day featured in a brawl
– WWE NXT Tag Team Champions, The New Day – Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston were out to address the WWE Universe but the segment was interrupted by Pretty Deadly. Gallus also joined them in the ring to get into a brawl. The officials had to run into the ring to separate them.
– Bron Breakker had a sitdown with Vic Joseph to address the NXT Title Match at Vengeance Day. He sounded happy about the match being a Steel Cage Match as Waller will nowhere to run.
– Tyler Bate made his return to NXT to defeat Javier Bernal in a match with his Tyler Driver finishing maneuver.
WWE NXT Results (17/01/23): Women’s Champion in the main event
– Roxanne Perez and Lyra Valkyria defeated Toxic Attraction (Jacy Jayne and Gigi Dolin) in the main event of WWE NXT. Cora Jade tried to interfere but Lyra took her out. Jayne accidentally hit Dolin allowing Perez to take Jayne down with a Side Russian Leg Sweep. She followed up with the Pop Rox for the win to end the show.
