Next week, WWE NXT Roadblock 2022 edition will be presented as they make more progress towards the next WWE Network Specials from their side in April. A loaded card for the March 8 show has been announced that will go down, next Tuesday on the USA Network.
WWE NXT Roadblock 2022 will have a headliner in the form of a Triple Threat for the NXT Title with Bron Breakker defending against Tommaso Ciampa and Dolph Ziggler. Breakker was initially supposed to defend in a singles contest against Ziggler but Ciampa was added to the fray as he’s also involved in the feud.

Women’s Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic Semi-finals will also go down on the WWE NXT Roadblocks 2022 edition. Wendy Choo and Dakota Kai will now face Jade and Gonzalez in the semi-finals. In the other semi-finals bout, Io Shirai and Kay Lee Ray will compete against Kacy Catanzaro and Kayden Carter to set up the finale lineup for a later date.
WWE NXT Roadblock 2022 is being used for the NXT brand, for the very first time, this year. The name was first used for a main roster live event and WWE Network pay-per-view on March 12, 2016, in Toronto, Canada. In that same year, “Roadblock: End of The Line” was then held on December 18, 2016, as a RAW brand pay-per-view from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Until now, the Roadblock gimmick hasn’t been used on WWE programming since December 2016.

The outcomes from WWE NXT Roadblock 2022 will eventually have major fallouts that in turn will set things up for the next WWE Network Specials in April named WWE NXT Stand & Deliver. The event is set for the same day as Wrestlemania 38 Night One in Dallas, Texas.
