NXT Roadblock 2023 has been confirmed to happen, next month as the prior-Wrestlemania theme was introduced to WWE’s third brand, last year. It appears that NXT head-honcho Shawn Michaels and his team are once again bringing the event as a television special for the NXT Universe.
During this week’s episode of NXT, WWE revealed the airdate for their next television special in the form of NXT Roadblock 2023. It will emanate from the Performance Center live at 8/ 7c on Tuesday, March 7. This should be the last special episode before NXT delivers the Stand & Deliver PLE during the Wrestlemania 39 weekend.

Satomura laid down a challenge to Roxanne Perez for NXT Roadblock 2023
The NXT commentary team noted that NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez will defend her NXT Women’s Championship against former NXT UK Champion Meiko Satomura at NXT Roadblock 2023.
This match came after Satomura made her TV comeback on NXT. She teamed up with Roxanne Perez against former NXT Women’s Champions Kayden Carter and Katana Chance where Roxanne picked up the win for her team with her Pop-Rox finisher on Carter.
Roxanne thanked Satomura after the match but The Final Boss pointed toward the women’s championship and thereby challenged Roxanne for the title. Roxanne noted that it would be an honor to put the title on the line against a legend like Satomura and the match was made official for NXT Roadblock 2023.
