A week from now, WWE presents another special theme edition in the form of NXT Spring Breaking 2023. On that night, the former NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez gets her title rematch from the current champion Indi Hartwell. However, another newbie gunning for the title has also been added to the match.
As seen on the April 18 episode of NXT programming, “The Prodigy” Roxanne Perez got back to winning ways by defeating Zoey Stark in a singles action which was her first win since losing her title at NXT Stand & Deliver. Stark wanted to execute her Stark-360 move for the win, but it was countered by Perez. Before Stark could react, she found herself attacked by the Pop Rox for the loss.

After the match, the current NXT Women’s Champion Indi Hartwell came out and agreed to give Roxanne Perez a rematch at NXT Spring Breaking 2023. Tiffany Stratton also came out and stated that she deserves one more shot at the NXT Women’s Title. Being a fighting champion, Indi had no problem putting her title on the line against both Perez and Tiffany in a Triple Threat.
Thus, NXT Spring Breaking 2023 marks Indi’s first title defense. She won the title with help from WWE RAW Superstar and her on-screen husband Dexter Lumis in a six-way ladder match at NXT Stand & Deliver, ending Roxanne Perez’s first title reign.
Perez, one of the brightest talents on the WWE NXT roster, successfully defended the NXT Women’s Championship at Roadblock against Meiko Satomura and collapsed in the ring after the match. She returned in time for Stand & Deliver and lost the title in a Ladder match involving Indi Hartwell, Zoey Stark, Gigi Dolin, Lyra Valkyria, and Tiffany Stratton.
