With one of the biggest WWE Premium Live Events NXT Stand and Deliver 2023 on the horizon, the status of the reigning Women’s Champion is yet to be clarified for the show. Roxanne Perez is the concerned name who is covered with mystery ever since getting collapsed in the ring following her successful WWE NXT Women’s Title defense at Roadblock.
Due to potential unavailability at WWE NXT Stand and Deliver 2023, the head honcho of the brand, Shawn Michaels announced that there will be a ladder match at the upcoming event to crown a new champion. As part of filling up the ladder match fray, a series of qualifying matches were hosted. Overall, four names have qualified for the title match with one more to go.

Meanwhile, this is what HBK had to offer regarding the situation,
“As of Friday Morning Roxanne Perez was discharged from the hospital. However, after numerous tests, Roxanne’s health is still in question. With Stand and Deliver in less than three weeks, I have the obligation to announce we possibly have to crown a New NXT Women’s Champion. Starting tonight there will be a series of qualifying matches with the winners advancing to Stand and Deliver to compete to become the NXT Women’s Champion in a Ladder Match.”
