Jacy Jayne has just started to transition into a solo wrestler after she decided to step away from The Toxic Attraction on WWE NXT. After coming up short of winning the NXT Women’s Championship, she turned on her partner Gigi Dolin on the February 7 edition of NXT. Speaking about Jayne’s turn-on against Dolin, this reminds us of a similar sadistic action from Cora Jade.
The former WWE NXT Women’s Tag Team Champion knows what it feels like to betray the best buddy of herself. This is why she took to Twitter to chime in on Jayne’s current situation and wrote the following on the ongoing situation, “Me and Jacy dropping pathetic leeches we once called ‘friends.'”

This eventually cleared her path to becoming a solo superstar. However, it’s also a fact that her adversary went on to become a bigger superstar on WWE NXT.

Jade and Perez had a long-term feud on WWE NXT
Jade previously won the NXT Women’s Tag Team Championships alongside Roxanne Perez in July 2022. But a bright superstar like Perez took the least time to go after NXT Women’s Championship then held by Mandy Rose. Jade turned on Perez during her match against Rose and cost her the title match. This eventually ensued in a bitter rivalry between Jade and Perez, down the road.
For the entire fall of 2022, Perez and Jade continued feuding with each other. Perez eventually emerged as the winner of the feud and after the score was settled, Perez ultimately went on to capture the Number-One Contender’s spot for WWE NXT Women’s Championship by winning the Iron Survivor Challenge at NXT Deadline. Down the road, she also defeated Mandy Rose to become the new champion.
Jayne had interesting reaction to Jade’s tweet
Now, with Jayne’s betrayal, the rivalry between Dolin and Jayne is about to begin on WWE NXT and the newly turned heel has an interesting response to Jade, pointing out that they’ve now become strange bedfellows, “You were secretly always my favorite, you get it.”

After Jayne took her out, Dolin is currently nowhere to be found on NXT TV as her former Toxic Attraction friend cut a promo in the ring explaining her actions. She is happy to overcome the earlier third-wheel position of The Toxic Attraction.
She even called Dolin “Jannetty,” referring to the infamous “Barber Shop” breakup between the Rockers, in which Marty Jannetty was thrown through a window much like Dolin was sent through a door. We assume a solid match between the two will be set up, possibly at NXT Stand And Deliver during WrestleMania weekend.
