WWE NXT TakeOver is coming with the second edition of In Your House within three weeks of time where the NXT Championship will be defended. It appears the main event of the night will witness Karrion Kross putting his title on the line during the show set for next month. As per the updates received from last night’s weekly episode, Johnny Gargano or Kyle O’Reilly or Pete Dunne will be competing against him.
NXT General Manager William Regal announced before this week’s Finn Balor vs. Karrion Kross main event that the winner would have to put his title on the line at WWE NXT TakeOver: In Your House PPV. The challenger will be determined via a Triple Threat Match set for next week. The lineup for that match stands Gargano vs. O’Reilly vs. Dunne with the winner becoming the next number-one contender for the NXT Championship.

Karrion Kross retained his belt over Balor, in a rematch from TakeOver: Stand and Deliver back in April. Kross beat Balor to become a two-time champion on that night. Last night, he also came up with a dominant performance by submitting Balor with his chokehold move hold. Now, Balor could move back to the main roster.

A new title feud could begin for WWE NXT TakeOver: In Your House
Speaking of WWE NXT TakeOver: In Your House, a new feud could perhaps begin over the NXT Women’s Title. This week, we have seen the “World Premiere” in-ring debut of Franky Monet (former Impact Wrestling Knockouts Champion Taya Valkyrie) as she defeated Cora Jade in a singles contest.
Monet made her NXT TV arrival back on April 14, the night after TakeOver who has been verbally attacking the women’s division since then. After the win, McKenzie Mitchell interviewed Monet as the latter one put NXT women’s division on notice including a message to the NXT Women’s Champion Raquel Gonzalez.
“100%, McKenzie. That’s what I came here to do,” Monet said. “That’s what I’ve done until getting here to the WWE, and now I will do it here, for the first time in WWE NXT. So, all of you women from the locker room, take note because you got a big ole target on your back, especially you, Raquel. Now ‘La Güera Loca’ is coming for each, and every one of you.”
We will have to wait and see whether Monet and Raquel will begin a feud for WWE NXT TakeOver: In Your House 2021 that is set for Sunday, June 13 from the Capitol Wrestling Center at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida. As of now, no match for the PPV event has been made official.
