This week’s episode of WWE NXT saw the NXT Title on the line in the main event of the night. Hall of Famer Ted DiBiase was in attendance for a Million Dollar Face-Off. Also, former Knockouts Champion Taya Valkyrie aka Frankie Monet made her debut on the show that went down from the Capitol Wrestling Center in Orlando, Florida. Check out the results,
– Ember Moon and Shotzi Blackheart defeated Dakota Kai and WWE NXT Women’s Champion Raquel Gonzalez in the opening contest. Gonzalez pulled away Kai from a submission put by Moon. She went for a one-armed Powerbomb but Moon hit a modified Eclipse. Moon and Blackheart then double-teamed on Kai for the pinfall win. After the match, Raquel attacked Shotzi. She powerbomb-ed Shotzi into the Plexiglas barrier, then the ring post, then the barrier again before leaving.
WWE Hell In A Cell 2021: Major Announcements Around Title Matches
– Pete Dunne defeated Bobby Fish in a scheduled match after hitting him with a suplex on the hand. After the match, Pete Dunne and Oney Lorcan kept on attacking Fish. The officials ran out to make the save.
– Mercedes Martinez defeated Zayda Ramier in a singles contest. Martinez hit a running knee to the jaw and followed up with the Air Raid Crash to secure the win. After the match, Mercedes was marked on her hand by Xia Li with an apparent Chinese symbol.

WWE NXT Results (25/05/21): Ted DiBiase appears
– Ted DiBiase and Cameron Grimes had a Million Dollar Face-Off on WWE NXT. LA Knight interrupted the segment and tried to get into a verbal war with Grimes. Grimes told LA to leave the ring or else he’d give him a kick. LA took out Grimes from behind while DiBiase told Grimes he still has a lot to learn.
– Franky Monet defeated Cora Jade in her debut match on WWE TV. Monet hit a Sit-down Powerbomb which was followed up with a Glam Slam to secure the win.
– Bronson Reed celebrated his WWE NXT North American Title win, but Santos Escobar interrupted him. Escobar told Bronson that the North American Title represents Mexico, and it will soon belong to him. Legado Del Fantasma faction then surrounded Bronson, but NXT Tag Team Champions MSK made the save.
– NXT General Manager William Regal announced Pete Dunne vs. Kyle O’Reilly vs. Johnny Gargano in a Triple Threat for next week where the winner will get a shot at the WWE NXT Championship at NXT TakeOver: In Your House.
– Karrion Kross (c) defeated Finn Balor to retain WWE NXT Championship in the main event of the show. Balor had the Triangle chokehold locked on Kross who got out of the submission with a Powerbomb. After some furious strikes, Balor was put into a Chokehold from Kross as he faded out. Kross and Scarlett celebrated the win to send NXT off the air.
