Over the next two weeks, WWE NXT will be presenting the 2023 edition of Gold Rush as confirmed earlier. The old-school gimmick will be back not as a tournament but as a two-night special to deliver multiple championship matches on the show. Apart from these title matches, several other matches will be there where some of the main roster superstars will be part of.
The June 20 episode WWE NXT episode will witness a main event match where the World Heavyweight Championship will be on the line. The champion Seth Rollins will defend against Bron Breakker of NXT. This will be the first time that a title from the main roster will be on the line on an episode of NXT.

Besides, Wes Lee will also be defending his WWE NXT North American Championship against Tyler Bate with main roster star Mustafa Ali serving as the Special Guest Referee.
Three tag teams will be engaged in a triple threat encounter to determine the number-one contenders for the NXT Tag Team Championship. A prep rally will be out for Thea Hail who is set to receive an opportunity to the NXT Women’s Championship. Plus, main roster superstar Dana Brooke will compete on NXT for the first time since 2016 when she goes up against Cora Jade.
