NXT Vengeance Day 2023 edition took place last night which was the first outing for WWE’s developmental brand to conduct a show outside Florida since the COVID-19 pandemic. The main event match featured a Steel Cage Match for the NXT Title.
Also, the NXT men’s and women’s tag titles, women’s title, and the North American title were on the line on the show that took place at the Spectrum Center in Charlotte, North Carolina. Check out the results,
– NXT Vengeance Day 2023 started with Wes Lee (c) successfully defeating Dijak to retain his North American Title. Tony D’Angelo and Stacks distracted Dijak as he dived right onto them. Lee hit a superkick and then had a strike to the face of Dijak for the win.

NXT Vengeance Day 2023: First title change of the night
– Fallon Henley and Kiana James defeated Katana Chance and Kayden Carter (c) to win the NXT Women’s Tag Team Championship at NXT Vengeance Day 2023. After Henley kicked out of a top rope Hurricunrana, Chance went for another top rope move, but she got pushed to the floor by James. This led to Henley rolling up Carter, as James held Carter’s feet so she couldn’t kick out.
WWE Elimination Chamber 2023: Roman Reigns’ Next Title Defense Announced
– Carmelo Hayes (with Trick Williams) defeated Apollo Crews in a Two-Out-Of-Three-Falls Match. After a cutter move, Hayes immediately locked in the Crossface which led to Crews tapping for 1-0.
The second fall took place after Crews’ former bodyguard Commander Azeez returned to TV at NXT Vengeance Day and pulled Trick down from an interference. However, Hayes launched an elbow strike followed by the Nothing But Net finisher for the win. After the match, Azeez turned on Crews and took him out with a sit-out powerbomb on a chair.
NXT Vengeance Day 2023: Second title change of the night
– Gallus’ Mark Coffey & Wolfgang defeated Pretty Deadly’s Elton Prince & Kit Wilson, Chase University members Andre Chase & Duke Hudson, and The New Day’s Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods (c) in a Fatal-4-Way Title Match to become new NXT Tag Team Champions at NXT Vengeance Day 2023. The finish saw Gallus hitting a double-team maneuver on Woods to get the pin to win.
– Roxanne Perez (c) defeated Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne to retain her WWE NXT Women’s Championship in a Triple Threat. Perez blocked a double-team attack with a Pop Rock to Dolin. Dolin still tried to hit Perez but she was put through a table while Perez then hit a Super Pop Rocks to Jayne to get the win.
– In the main event of NXT Vengeance Day 2023, Bron Breakker (c) defeated Grayson Waller to retain his WWE NXT Championship in a Steel Cage Match. Waller hit a low blow and then a Stunner but Breakker kicked out of it. Waller then reached the top of the cage but Breakker followed him with a huge superplex.
After that, Breakker connected with two vicious Spears for the victory. As Breakker was celebrating the win, Carmelo Hayes appeared, making it clear that he wanted a shot at the NXT title. A confrontation between the two sent NXT Vengeance Day 2023 off the air.
