WWE brought us Payback 2020 just a week after SummerSlam with the main event match where the Universal Championship was put on the line in a Triple Threat. Former NXT Champion Keith Lee made his PPV debut whereas the Women’s tag titles and the US Title were also on the line. Bobby Lashley vs. Apollo Crews (c)
Apollo Crews was in control in the opening match of Payback 2020 with two German Suplexes on Lashley to keep him down. Lashley finally made a comeback hitting a Chokeslam on Crews. He then applied the Full Nelson submission to make Apollo tap out and win the US Championship.

Big E vs Sheamus
Sheamus had Big E down hitting him with the Irish Curse Backbreaker and then punishing him on the legs. But E came right back with a spear on the floor. He slammed Sheamus to the match and then executed the Big Ending for the victory at Payback 2020.

King Baron Corbin vs. Matt Riddle
Corbin became really frustrated as he failed Riddle to pin after a big punch followed by a Deep Six. A frustrated Corbin ate some elbows from Riddle and got locked in a Triangle. Riddle then connected with a Bro 2 Sleep and Floating Bro for the pinfall win.
