During last night’s WWE Payback 2023 premium live event, we had a special guest in attendance in the form of NXT Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton. She has been attending main roster shows for the time being but at the latest bygone PLE, she wasn’t just limited to cheering for the opening contest participants Becky Lynch and WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus.
As seen during WWE Payback 2023, Tiffany Stratton also confronted Becky Lynch backstage, fresh off the latter’s victory over Stratus. While their confrontation was brief, it was enough to be planting seeds for The Man to potentially return to the yellow brand in the near future to get involved in a feud.

Speculations are running rampant about Becky Lynch’s potential run on the NXT roster, primarily since she could be a big star power for the brand to hold down a steady viewership. Besides, The Irish Lass-Kicker used to be one of the mainstays of the original NXT brand as one of the four horsewomen of NXT when Dusty Rhodes was in charge of things.
WWE Payback 2023: Becky Lynch ended her feud with Trish Stratus
Also, the ongoing saga between Becky Lynch and Trish Stratus has finally ended at WWE Payback 2023. At this weekend’s premium live event, the two battled it out inside a Steel Cage and it was The Man who stood tall by the end of the slugfest. In the opening match of the PLE, Becky delivered a Manhandle Slam off the top rope to put her bitter rival away.
With not many options available in the Raw locker room for Becky, it might be time for her to take a tour to her old stomping grounds following WWE Payback 2023 and win the NXT Women’s Title, an achievement that she never had in her career.
Most notably, Becky competed in a critically acclaimed match with Sasha Banks (now NJPW’s Mercedes Mone) at NXT Takeover: Unstoppable in 2015. But soon after the match, she was called up to the main roster alongside Banks and Charlotte Flair to kick-start things in the women’s evolution.
Heading into WWE Payback 2023, it was Tiffany who teased the beginning of the feud by namedropping Becky in a promo. In return, The Man responded on Twitter by pointing out that she never won a title on NXT. Now, it might finally be the time for her to taste gold in the black and gold brand.
