Ronda Rousey made a solid impact on the fans on this past WWE Raw. She arrived on the show to seek redemption from MITB night on Alexa Bliss. The women’s champion received a hellacious beatdown from her. She did not spare even the authority figures of the show as well. It was an unprecedented incident for sure.
WWE does not tolerate these kinds of impatient behaviors from their employees. We have seen many superstars getting suspended for same actions in the past. The same happened to Ronda Rousey as well. Kurt Angle announced that she can’t enter a WWE arena for the next 30 days.
It means that the former UFC superstar will be absent from the next PPV event in line. We have previously reported that she will be missing the Extreme Rules show in July. So she will only come back when the Summerslam season will pick up. WWE has recently disclosed the exact date when her suspension will be over.
18th July is the mentioned date which means this will be just three days later from Extreme Rules PPV. It also means that Ronda Rousey will not attend the post-PPV episode of Monday Night Raw. July 23rd is the perfect date when she should be back onboard and perhaps in the championship picture.
Ronda Rousey has already announced that she is coming after Alexa Bliss following return. So the potential planning should be that Bliss will continue with her championship reign. The ‘baddest woman on planet earth’ would come back to challenge her in a match.
For now, Rousey has issued an apology to the WWE Raw GM,
“I sincerely apologize for my behavior tonight…. Though you were the first to put hands on me, I shouldn’t have let my temper get the best of me….Despite the fact I was cheated, provoked, and disrespected by Alexa… I shouldn’t have been willing to go through you to get to her. I’ll gladly serve my suspension … but Alexa, know that every moment you don’t see me i am thinking of you and preparing for your comeuppance. So you in 30 days #LittleMissBish”
Kurt Angle, on the other hand, also declared his regret for suspending Ronda Rousey. There’s no doubt that she is the biggest superstar on the Raw roster.
The flagship show might suffer from TV ratings as well following this absence. But the officials are saving her presence for the Summerslam buildups.
