In the contemporary times, WWE Raw is quite ahead of building up the momentums for Extreme Rules than Smackdown Live. They have already done a good job at the bygone MITB PPV event. Both the ladder match winners belonged to their brand.
The commissioner and the GM were happier with this success. Simultaneously, it certainly gave a boost to their confidence and took one step away from their rivalry brand.
The flagship show has already set up some of the rivalries for the Extreme Rules PPV as well. The blue brand has only managed to announce the WWE Championship match in comparison to that.
Now, it looks like they have to deal with a major headache on tonight’s episode.
So much so, the prime champions of the roster are not likely to be present on Smackdown episode, tonight.

We do know WWE is hosting Super-Show-Down in Australia on October 6th. Both the male and female champions of Smackdown have headed to the country – to promote the upcoming show.
There are some of the media events those are advertising AJ Styles and Carmella throughout Tuesday. So, it seems unlikely that they can make it home by 8:00 PM.

Tonight’s episode of Smackdown will take place in Ontario, California. One of the main events of the show will witness Jeff Hardy taking on Shinsuke Nakamura over the United States (US) Championship.
But it looks like the WWE Championship will not be present on the scene. Here’s what prowrestling.com had to offer on this situation,
“It seems that there is a possibility that Styles does not make the Smackdown LIVE taping, which could be as a result of him being in Australia as he is currently not being advertised for the show. However, Carmella IS currently being advertised, so it is unknown whether or not the Princess of Staten Island will be at the show or not.”

The source claimed there’s a certain possibility of seeing Carmella on Smackdown tonight.
However, it is much unlikely that we will see her live-in-person attending the show. If the officials intend to present her on the show then they might present us with a pre-taped segment.

Meanwhile, the current Smackdown women’s champion was all over the Australian media during the last couple of days.
WWE coming up with the biggest live event has already steered up the entertainment industry of the country. Visit of the two champions has certainly raised the interest of the public.
