Sasha Banks is not returning to WWE, anytime soon despite the company wanting her to make a comeback. We have previously noted that the WWE officials are willing to make her happy in case she does show up at some point. But those promises seem to have no effect on the former WWE Raw women’s champion.

WWE does understand how much popular superstar Sasha Banks is from the current roster. Also, she is one of the biggest merchandise movers for the company. The officials could be much worried about her absence that could hit the merchandise selling for the second quarter of 2019. So they can actually offer her some lucrative offers upon return.

Post-Wrestling‘s Tom Colohue stated that WWE has no intention of letting Sasha Banks go from her contract. Rather the promise to give her a lot of things upon return. One of them was winning the Money in the Bank briefcase that literally ensures her to become a future women’s champion. But she did not respond to it forcing WWE to place Dana Brooke in her spot.
But WWE’s door is still very much open for Sasha Banks as hinted by the source,
“To my knowledge, WWE has no intention of releasing Sasha Banks from her current contract and are willing to promise a lot of things to see her return. Whether they are also willing to fulfill those promises remains to be seen.”
At present, Sasha Banks has requested her release from the company, a month ago. But as mentioned earlier, there’s no way that WWE is letting her go. She has just re-signed her contract last year which assures that there’s still a long way to go to get rid of the contractual obligations. The Wrestling Observer Newsletter further reported on what WWE could be doing with The Legit Boss of the WWE,
“The attitude right now from the company side is that she can go sit out the rest of her contract if she wants to. The bad part of that is that if she doesn’t wrestle and tries to sit out, they can freeze the contract as well.”
WWE can also take the hardest route if Sasha Banks remains unmoved from her position. They will give her a Luke Harper treatment by adding more days to her deal for the timespan she missed the action. This literally means that WWE will not let her compete ever again outside their banner. The decision is up to Sasha for now as to whether she wants to bury her career like this or not.
