CNBC initially reported that Endeavor was inching closer to the acquisition of WWE, for a merger with UFC in the process. That report was made official on Monday morning, heading into Raw after WrestleMania 39, when WWE Chairman Vince McMahon alongside Endeavor’s Ari Emanuel confirmed the deal to establish a brand-new publicly traded company comprising of the two sports entertainment juggernauts.
Fightful reports in an update that WWE President Nick Khan and Chief Content Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque alongside Chief Financial Offer Frank Riddick led an employee meeting prior to WWE Raw while Triple H and Nick Khan ran a talent meeting. This idea stressed that Endeavor’s purchase of the company didn’t mean that creative control of the show will be affected. While nothing more has been stressed about the situation, the weekly and PLE shows won’t be hampered, anyway.
