En route to Wrestlemania 40, the heated feud between Rhea Ripley and Becky Lynch continued and it came to major blows on WWE Raw, this week. After some remarks were made toward Ripley’s recent antics from WWE Live Event, the latter made things extremely personal to gain the upper hand ahead of their scheduled title match.
Flanked by Dominik Mysterio, Rhea Ripley made her way down to the ring on WWE Raw to address Becky Lynch as the challenger allegedly wasn’t giving her full attention. To open up the promo, Ripley mentioned that, unlike her opponent, she can make the world buzz about herself without even stepping into the ring every week. That led to The Man finally coming around in Chicago, Illinois to confront her WrestleMania opponent.
Becky Lynch was quick to lay the Smackdown on Ripley. She said they have very different definitions of what it is like to be a champion. It was noted how Ripley has been seeking attention by posting photos of her a** on the internet, and for her, it’s busting her a** in the ring.

Ripley then mentioned Becky Lynch’s daughter which led to the Wrestlemania challenger’s anger. She told her not to ever mention her daughter again in this storyline contest as her father never got to meet her granddaughter. An emotional Big Time Becks held back her tears as well as her punch to the champion.

But eventually, Becky Lynch unleashed her wrath by first punching Dominik Mysterio. This led to an all-out brawl between herself and Ripley as things looked intensified before their women’s world title match encounter at WrestleMania 40.
In the Women’s Elimination Chamber Match for an opportunity to the Women’s World Championship Match at WrestleMania 40, Becky Lynch defeated Bianca Belair, Liv Morgan, Tiffany Stratton, Naomi, and Raquel Rodriguez to solidify her spot at the Show of Shows. Later that night, Rhea Ripley also defeated Nia Jax to retain her title to confirm her matchup with THE MAN at the Show of Shows.
Last week, Becky Lynch also vanquished Nia Jax from her path as a semi-feud with the behemoth got wrapped up on WWE Raw as she won a Last Woman Standing Match.
