WWE Raw presented the Night Two of Draft 2023 on its latest episode which took place at the Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas. Apart from the Draft, this night also marked the final episode from the red brand before this weekend’s Backlash premium live event. Hence, a number of segments were there to make final builds for the PLE.

These segments on WWE Raw obviously included builds for the main event of Backlash 2023 featuring Brock Lesnar against Cody Rhodes. After a couple of weeks of waiting, the latter finally got to put his hands on his current rival and made a big statement that he was not going down. That easily. In fact, Lesnar was spotted with blood in his face after the confrontation was over.

Lesnar asked Texas fans on WWE Raw on how it feels to see the only real Cowboy there on the show. Pearce then called out for Security. Lesnar replied by saying that it’s going to take a lot more men to make him leave. Pearce then called out for more security guards.

Suddenly, Cody Rhodes came out from behind and punched Lesnar in the face. A stunned Lesnar quickly rolled out of the ring to avoid any further physical involvement, while the security guards also stopped Cody from chasing him down. As Lesnar was leaving WWE Raw set through the ramp, it was spotted that Cody busted open Lesnar’s nose with the punch.
