Brock Lesnar has already worked overtime for the WWE this year. For the first time since 2003, he performed in five back-to-back pay-per-view events starting from Royal Rumble in January. Money in the Bank will be the first event that he will miss in his part-time schedule with the WWE. But soon after he expected to be back on TV as SummerSlam builds start on Raw.
Without a doubt, Brock Lesnar still remains one of the biggest draws for the WWE who can sell out a show with a five-minute match and there’s no better way for the WWE to get back their money. It appears that starting earlier in July, the former Universal Champion will be back a few times on TV to be the special attraction as the Road to SummerSlam 2022 kicks off.

Brock Lesnar – Cody Rhodes feud began on the night after WrestleMania 39
Brock Lesnar and Cody Rhodes have already battled in two matches and they are also reportedly set to collide for a third time, this summer. According to the reports Wrestling Observer Radio, the third match between these two top superstars is penciled in for SummerSlam on August 5.
Their first-ever clash happened at Backlash, where Rhodes picked up the victory after turning Lesnar’s Kimura Lock into a pin attempt for three falls. They then again fought at Night of Champions in Saudi Arabia, with The Beast Incarnate neutralizing the score as he emerged victorious by passing out Rhodes with the Kimura Lock.
Originally, Brock Lesnar and Cody Rhodes were supposed to be a mega tag team on Raw after WrestleMania 39 in Los Angeles, California. Coming off a fresh win over Omos, Lesnar volunteered to team up with the 2023 men’s Royal Rumble against the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa.
Before the match, Lesnar turned on Rhodes and viciously attacked him to kick off the feud. With this move, the former ten-time WWE Champion also went back to being a heel persona on TV for the first time since 2021 summer.
