Eva Marie had two underwhelming stints in the WWE back when Vince McMahon held control of the company. There have been times when she was touted to be the next Nikki Bella of the WWE due to her natural ability to garner attention. However, the 38-year-old superstar got herself involved in controversies and eventually got released on both occasions.
WWE rehiring talents under Triple H regime
Starting in competition for Triple H’s version of old NXT Eva Marie could be back on the main roster since the higher-ups have changed in recent times. Triple H is the Chief Content Officer in the WWE and since taking things over, he has been placing a lot of focus on the women’s division of the company. Whether pitting them in main event segments or having multiple women’s matches on all three brands, things have become regular alongside the comebacks of Dakota Kai, Tegan Nox, or Mia Yim.

Whether WWE fans like it or not, Eva Marie could turn out to be the next returnee on TV as teased on social media. She reacted to Sean Ross Sapp’s tweet earlier this week. The veteran wrestling journalist was hinting at more comebacks in the future as he wrote, “I don’t think we’re done with WWE returns.” The former WWE Diva liked the tweet and ended up sparking some rumors of her comeback.

WWE fans not necessarily happy with Eva Marie’s return
Fans have since mostly expressed their displeasure about this possible return but Eva Marie did find her way back to the WWE in 2021 even if it was just for a few months. Her new pink hair gimmick was of a celebrity who wanted to help emerging stars. However, the character change didn’t bring anything significant and she was once again released from contract on November 4, 2021, as the budget-cutting process continued in the WWE.
Eva Marie shares a good rapport with WWE
It now appears that the real-life Natalie Eva Marie Nelson is really looking forward to beginning his third tenure with the WWE at a point when the backstage morale is relatively high after Vince McMahon’s retirement. Previously while appearing on Renee Paquette’s Oral Sessions podcast, she noted keeping good vibes with WWE to leave the doors open for a return,
“They took a chance on me, from Vince McMahon to Triple H to Steph, in 2013, a Diva Search, no name kid, and gave me a start. And that start was absolutely incredible. Talk about being thrown into the wild real quick. But as soon as I stepped away, it was because I got the support from Vince, Triple H and Steph to go ahead and do my first movie and then continue to do movies and TV and film.” (quotes courtesy Wrestling INC)
