We were about to see massive fallouts from Wrestlemania 34 event on last night’s edition of WWE Raw.
This is always that one special night where the crowd remains rowdy with their vocal cords being at the top. The atmosphere was nothing different on last night’s episode, as we also had some surprise in-store, as well.
Here are the results from the show hosted by the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Stephanie McMahon kicked off this week’s episode of WWE Raw firing up the international flavor of this special night. The crowd broke into numerous chants, as she went on to butter Ronda Rousey for her accomplishments. The Rowdy One showed up in the ring to great cheers from the crowd before taking out Stephanie. She locked in the armbar and left the arm ripped apart from her body.
Nia Jax appeared as the new WWE Raw women’s champion on the show. She got big cheers from the crowd before Alexa Bliss, and Mickie James interrupted her. They were challenged in a tag team match as Ember Moon made her debut and teamed up with the champ. The babyface team picked up the win after Moon hit the Eclipse off the top rope.
Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn walked into Kurt Angle asking for a job, as they no longer belong to the Smackdown Live roster. The general manager informed there’s one vacant spot on WWE Raw and they have to fight for it. It set up a match between them which turned out to be a brawl outside the ring. The referee was forced to call it a draw, as both men got counted out.
Roman Reigns addressed the crowd talking about the failure that he had against Brock Lesnar. It also got announced that the rematch between these two would happen at the Greatest Royal Rumble event inside a steel cage. Samoa Joe returned on the show and challenged him in a match at Backlash PPV in case he had something left in him after fighting the champion.
Seth Rollins received a huge ovation from the crowd before getting interrupted by Finn Balor who wanted a shot at the Intercontinental title. The Miz also came down to the ring pleading for his rematch for the title. In the middle of their conversation, Jeff Hardy showed up to surprise the crowd and have a four-way stand-off on the show.
Sasha Banks had a singles competition against Mandy Rose. Bayley was standing at the ringside in Banks’ corner to help her. But, she accidentally hit her in the face costing the match. Rose emerged victoriously by hitting her finishing move after which Paige addressed the crowd saying due to neck injury she is announcing her retirement from in-ring competition.
Braun Strowman and Nicholas relinquished the WWE Raw tag team championships. To announce the new champions, there will be a championship match at Greatest Royal Rumble. The Revival and the team of Bray Wyatt and Woken Matt Hardy won their respective matches to emerge to a contenders’ match on WWE Raw, next week.
Bobby Lashley made his return on the show after a decade interrupting Elias. Also, No Way Jose and The Authors of Pain made their WWE Raw debut from the NXT roster.
In the main event of WWE Raw, a six-man tag team match took place where Seth Rollins, Finn Balor, and Jeff Hardy teamed up against The Miztourage. After a back and forth going, The Miz tried to capitalize with a roll-up but fell victim to Curb Stomp from Rollins. After the win, the babyface team destroyed the Miztourage with their finishing moves to end WWE Raw.
