RAW was live this week from Seattle, Washington where the promo of Bryan’s retirement was shown to kick things off and Stephanie McMahon awaits to host the contract signing for the Fastlane main event triple threat match. It was not expected that things will go down well when the beast and two brothers will be in the ring at the same time and a massacre broke out with Ambrose eating another F-5 and Reigns taking the contract table full blast to the face.
Dolph Ziggler vs. Kevin Owens
Ziggler once again came up victorious with a little cheating of his own when he took help of the ropes. KO played fast and loose with the rules, Ziggler fought him to a dead heat, finally pulling ahead with a Famouser off the ring apron. After that Owens missed a cannonball when the show off revered it with a roll-up for the victory.
Charlotte vs. Alicia Fox
The Divas champion Charlotte was angry over Brie getting a championship match at Fastlane following her surprise victory on last week RAW and unleashed her frustration on brie’s BFF Alicia Fox in the match. The final moments saw Charlotte locking in figure four on Fox to make her tap out.
MizTv turned into Highlight Reel
Miz was scheduled to host his MizTv with special guest Chris Jericho but as the moneymaker was broken by AJ Styles on Smackdown, he was complaining about the phenomenal one rather than properly introducing Y2J on the show. So Jericho turned the show into Highlight reel hijacking Miz Tv. Then it all got wrapped up in a tidy bow when Styles arrived and the three Superstars viciously threw hands against each other.
Bray Wyatt vs. Ryback
Perhaps Bray Wyatt was upset following Ryback’s victory over Eric Rowan on Smackdown. So he decided to have a feast with the big guy rather than paying attention to his new gear. Ryback went back to the well with the Meat Hook Clothesline that Wyatt pounced, catching him mid-sprint in Sister Abigail to pick up the win and the entire Wyatt family pounced on Ryback.
Adam Rose vs. Titus O’Neil
The foursome’s fortune is going upwards as the best buddies are all united all the time. The gator was on a roll and on the verge to pick up the win against the magical mongoose Adam Rose before the rest of the social outcast members intervened for a roll-up victory to Rose.
Ambrose challenged Brock Lesnar
Surprisingly, Dean did not back down to challenge the beast once more as he invited the conqueror once again to get him. Dean Ambrose sprints down to the ring. Ambrose grabs a mic and asks if what Lesnar did to him earlier was an F2 or an F3 because it couldn’t have been an F5.Lesnar made his presence felt aftermath and once again planted the Lunatic Fringe with an F-5. Reigns music hit to give Ambrose enough space to hit him with a low blow.
Rusev and Del Rio vs. The Lucha Dragons
Sin Cara was back but that was the only good news for the Lucha Dragons. The League of Nations cornered Sin Cara for the most part of the match. Kalisto got into the match only to be in a running enzuigiri. Thanks to King Barrett’s distraction, Del Rio managed to set up the king of flight for the tree of woe and hit it successfully for the win.
Tamina vs. Becky Lynch
Becky and Sasha will team up against rest of the team BAD at Fastlane. Naomi was in the corner of Tamina as Sasha was at the commentary. The antagonizing attack against Banks distracted Becky and she ran into a boot from Tamina to get pinned.
The Usos and Dudley Boyz vs. the New Day and Mark Henry
A tables match is synonymous to the Dudley Boys as they teamed up with the Usos against mark Henry and Dudley Boyz. After Mark henry got annoyed with the unicorns, it was easy to put Big E through the tables to finish the match. Even the Usos were put through the tables for trespassing their territory in the first place.
Daniel Bryan announced his retirement
Nobody was sure about the decision that Bryan has made earlier yesterday on Twitter when he shocked the world by declaring his retirement. As a tribute of Bryan that opened the show, it was pretty evident that each of the crowd was waiting to hear from the leader of the YES movement and the crowd remained heartbreaking after hearing his speech which ended the show as well as a historic career.
