WWE: Raw Full Results: July 24th, 2017 1

Three major matches were confirmed to take place on tonight’s WWE Raw to pave the way for Summerslam. All of the matches took place on the show with a bigger announcement from the Raw General Manager where he cleared the Universal Championship picture that will take place on August 20th. Check out the results from this week’s WWE Raw that took place at the Verizon Center in Washington DC.

Kurt Angle’s music kicked off this week’s WWE Raw, as he had a Summerslam announcement to make. But, before he could confirm anything, he got interrupted by Braun Strowman who demanded the title shot. Samoa Joe and Roman Reigns soon showed up to claim some valid points for the Universal title shot.

The GM then included three of them in the championship match making it a fatal 4-way contest at Summerslam. Strowman was not happy with this decision and a brawl broke out into the ring. The security guards came out running to stop the chaos but failed. Strowman stood tall after the scene was cleared.

Finn Balor took it to Elias Samson in a no disqualification match. As expected, Bray Wyatt made his presence felt when Balor was going for the Coup De Grace. He hit him with the pendant move, Sister Abigail to let Samson capitalise and pick up the win by covering him.

Emma was frustrated with her position on the roster and complained about it. So, Kurt angle booked a match between her and Nia Jax on WWE Raw. The latter one picked up quite an easy win over Emma by squeezing her with a splash. The Revival picked up yet another win against Gallows and Anderson to keep their momentum ongoing.

Sasha Banks got the much-anticipated match against Bayley to determine the number one contender for Alexa Bliss’ title. But, she failed after missing a top rope splash on Bayley. The Hugger rolled her up to pick up the win quite easily and become the one to get inserted into Raw women’s title match at Summerslam.

Jason Jordan got his first match on WWE Raw against Curt Hawkins and quite efficiently overcame it with a suplex following with a neck breaker. Akira Tozawa had a confrontation with Neville. But, Daivari showed up and put both of them down before leaving the ring.

Enzo Amore got another match against Big Cass. This time it was a no DQ affair and the big man got no problem to out Enzo down with a big boot. Big Show appeared to save Enzo after the match and fell victim to Cass’ wrath for the second consecutive week.

In the main event, Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins squared off against the three members of the Entourage. Despite the difference in their opinions, Rollins and Ambrose were able to work together, quite easily. The finishing segment saw both of them connecting with their finishing manoeuvres on The Miz to pick up the win. WWE Raw ended with Ambrose walking off his partner, following the match.
