Last night’s WWE Raw was already hyped up with two big-time matchups on the show. Roman Reigns was scheduled for an Intercontinental title opportunity against The Miz, whereas, Seth Rollins squared off against Braun Strowman in the other one. Here are the results from the night hosted at the Pepsi Center in Denver, Colorado.
The show opened up with the entire roster including Vince McMahon standing on the ramp paying tribute to the Las Vegas terror victims. Seth Rollins got into the ring next to have the scheduled matchup against Braun Strowman.
The Architect fought hard with a series of moves like the blockbuster, super-kick and suicide dive to put down Strowman but the latter one came back out of nowhere hitting with a running powerslam for the win. He laid an assault on Rollins after the match. Ambrose came down to save his partner but ended up getting punished by Strowman, again. Sheamus & Cesaro showed up to deliver some more assaults to the tag champs.
Mickie James was looking for Alexa Bliss in the backstage area. But, she instead met Nia Jax to set up a match between the two of them. James had the big woman down with a superkick. But, the Raw Women’s Champion came down to attack James causing the match to get disqualified. Mickie James then slapped and kicked to Bliss’ face for a second week in a row.
After what transpired for the past few weeks, Elias got a singles match against Titus O’Neil. Despite Apollo Crews being on Titus’ corner, Elias connected with the Drift Away to pick up the win. In a tag team match of the evening, Gallows-Anderson defeated Matt Hardy and Jason Jordan via the Magic Killer.

Before the Intercontinental Championship match, The Miz-tourage made a Shield-like entrance. Roman Reigns attacked Curtis Axel & Bo Dallas during the entry. He put down Axel with the help of a steel chair in the middle of the crowd. Dallas tried to resist a bit, but Reigns hit a Superman punch and cracked the chair on his back to make the contest a singles affair.
The Big Dog was on the verge of a win after hitting The Miz with a Superman punch. He went to hit the spear on the champ, but Sheamus & Cesaro showed up to ambush him leading the contest to a disqualification. Alongside Miz, the trio hit a Shield-like powerbomb to put down Reigns in the middle of the ring.
Finn Balor and Bray Wyatt had another promo segment with each other. Sasha Banks and Bayley teamed up yet again to defeat the team of Emma and Alicia Fox.
The Cruiserweight division got the finishing segment of WWE Raw, once again. Enzo Amore showed his heel-ish antics again before Neville and Kurt Angle showed up to introduce him the newest member of 205 Live, Kalisto. The Luchador hit the Salida Del Sol on Enzo to end the segment after which we got a glimpse of Reigns, Ambrose & Rollins standing together at the backstage. The show went off the air with this.
