It was the last episode of WWE Raw before the Hell in a Cell PPV event. The show already advertised two legends (Mick Foley and Triple H) to return to hype-up the show. We expected to learn an update about the Shield’s condition after last week’s beatdown.

Dolph Ziggler’s music hit the arena to open WWE Raw. Drew McIntyre and Braun Strowman joined him inside the ring to cut a promo. The Shield came out to confront them. They quickly took out the other heel superstars standing inside the ring.
Strowman, Ziggler, and McIntyre retreated and watched it from the ramp. Baron Corbin instructed The Shield must leave the show to avoid any punishment.
Nikki Bella returned to singles action against Ruby Riott on WWE Raw. She hit a snapmare to start the match. Riott decided to retreat going outside of the ring. The crowd heavily chanted for Nikki, as she connected with some shoulder thrusts. Riott went for a head-scissors, but Bella countered with a slam to the mat. Morgan went to distract Nikki, but Brid pulled her off the apron. Nikki hit Rack Attack 2.0 for the victory.

Triple H arrived inside the ring to speak about the Undertaker. He emphasised the fact that the Phenome is no more the same that he used to be. He does not have the streak or the aura that he used to possess once. So HBK was right about Triple H being the winner at Super Show Down.
Drew McIntyre and Dolph Ziggler defended their WWE Raw tag team championships against the B-Team. Drew hit an Alabama Slam to take control of the match. Axel went for a neck-breaker when Drew hit a Glasgow Kiss on him. After that, Ziggler and McIntyre hit their combination move on B-team to get the win. Ambrose and Rollins tried to attack them from behind, but they escaped.
Ronda Rousey and Natalya teamed up against Alexa Bliss and Mickie James. Natalya and Bliss started the match. Nattie stepped on her before giving a low dropkick. Later Rousey tagged in with Mickie James standing against her. Rousey played with judo throw around her before locking in the arm-bar for the win. Bliss attacked Rousey with a cheap shot after the match.

Kevin Owens attacked Tyler Breeze from behind on WWE Raw. He delivered an apron powerbomb on Breeze to finish the segment. AOP competed in a match against two rookies to beat with Super Collider. Bobby Roode and Chad Gable teamed up once again to come up, as the winner. Roode hit a spinebuster on Viktor after which Gable hit the bridged suplex for the victory.

Elias was out to have own music concert on the show. But Mick Foley’s music interrupted him. He remembered the memory of the Hell in a Cell match against The Undertaker. Plus, he also announced to be the special guest referee for Roman Reigns vs Braun Strowman match on Sunday. Later, Finn Balor defeated Elias with an Inside Cradle.

Braun Strowman looked for Roman Reigns all around the arena. In the main event segment of WWE Raw, he called out the champ inside the ring.
