Super Show Down hype-up was the main focus of last night’s WWE Raw. There was a championship match on the show featuring the Dogs of War members. Plus, two contests were pre-official for the show. Bobby Lashley was in a rematch against Elias. Bella Twins also returned to singles action against the Riott Squad. Here are the results from the show took place at the Pepsi Center in Denver, Colorado.

Stephanie McMahon arrived at the arena in the opening sequence of WWE Raw. A brand new video package led us into the show that showed Baron Corbin walking up to his commissioner. Stephanie did not look happy about Corbin’s job and warned him about Kurt Angle coming back sooner.

We went live into the Pepsi Arena to kick off WWE Raw. The Shield walked out to cut a promo on the show until Baron Corbin, Ziggler and McIntyre interrupted them. The heels targeted Dean Ambrose for not being a champion. They manipulated him to turn his back on his two brethren as Dean looked on them with a psychotic look to end the segment.

Finn Balor and Bayley appeared for the opening contest of WWE Raw. Balor went one-on-one against Jinder Mahal. Balor took control with a Summersault Senton. Sunil Singh tried to distract but Bayley hit the Bayley-to-belly. Balor rolled up a distracted Mahal for the win. An irate Mahal attacked Sunil after the match and slapped him into the face. Then he tried to do the Om Shanti pose with Singh.

Brie Bella was about to go one-on-one against Ruby Riott. But the match got converted into a six-woman tag team contest as Natalya teamed up with Bella Twins against the Riott Squad. Brie nearly killed Liv Morgan with two legit kicks to the face. Natalya tagged in and locked in the Sharpshooter only to get hit by Ruby with a Riott Kick to digest a pinfall loss.

A back and forth going started the WWE Raw tag team championship match. Dolph and Drew made multiple tags within themselves and so did Dash and Dawson. Wilder gave a cross-body on Ziggler before running into the ring post. Dawson came back with a valiant effort to lock in the Rings of Saturn on Ziggler. Dawson tried desperately to get the win with a Doomsday Device followed by a Missile Dropkick. But he got caught with the Zig-zag Claymore combo to come up short.

Chad Gable had a match against Konnor of the Ascension. Konnor hit an avalanche and followed it up with a Dominator for the win. Nia Jax had a singles contest on WWE Raw against Alicia Fox. Jax controlled the earlier part of the match with an avalanche. Later he overpowered Fox from a submission to hit a Samoan Drop for the win.

Elias was strumming his guitar on WWE Raw when Kevin Owens joined him inside the ring for a Kevin Owens show. They talked about Super Show Down where they face Bobby Lashley and John Cena. Lio Rush came out to the scene to introduce Bobby Lashley in his hometown. Elias punished him for the beginning part until Lashley gave a reverse STO. Owens ran into Lashley accidentally to disqualify the match.

Tensions between The Shield were all around as The Dogs of War tried to manipulate Dean Ambrose throughout the evening. Seth Rollins, on the other hand, tried to get into the heads of Drew McIntyre to come up as a counter attack. The mind games continued as Baron Corbin revealed AOP to be his partner for WWE Raw main event.

AOP was in full control of the match as they hit the Last Chapter on Roman Reigns outside the floor. Corbin hit the Deep Six on Rollins for a near fall. Later Rollins took out AOP members with a Suicide Dive. This allowed Roman Reigns to hit Corbin with a spear for the win. The Shield posed with fist-bumps to end this week’s WWE Raw.
