WWE RAW full results: Shane McMahon returns, Dean Ambrose confronts Triple H

WWE Raw kicks off this week from the windy city, Chicago with the question, will WWE’s prodigal son be able to take over RAW, post-Wrestlemania? That’s a long way till he steps inside the Hell in a Cell but tonight Shane comes on RAW with a message to deliver. Mr. McMahon interrupts in between with stomping a photo of himself and Shane. He tells him “his greatest failure” and calls the security guards to take his son out of RAW. Shane got the last laugh, though, when he singlehandedly dismantled the entire security team his father sent to the ring to remove him. (WWE Raw results are courtesy wwe.com)

Intercontinental champion Kevin Owens vs. Neville

KO has been saying for weeks about the coming of #komania and looks like we got the preview of what’s coming in Dallas. Owens met with Neville in the ring and was taken to the limit with two Shooting Star Presses and a second-rope Phoenix Splash. But the brutal non-title match was won by the champ with a roll up and Owens went right after Neville after the match when his life-long enemy Sami Zayn came out for rescue. Now, #komania has just got started.

Summer Rae vs. Brie Bella

Summer Rae is on a role as of late. After picking up one victory against Paige two weeks ago, now she knocked off Brie Bella on WWE Raw courtesy Lana, who’s had issues with the Bella twin. She made her presence known in the thick of the Brie-Summer match, distracting Brie and giving Summer enough of an edge to win with a roll-up.

Dean Ambrose confronted Triple H

The motto of Dean Ambrose is simple. He wants to make the King of Kings respect him. There’s no denying The Lunatic Fringe’s potential rise to WWE World Heavyweight Champion on Saturday would mean a bit of a scramble when it comes to the marketing of Wrestlemania. But, that does not mean he would stop to dethrone the Game at WWE Roadblock. The Game, of course, does not handle ‘ego’ peacefully and looked to put Ambrose in his place and scheduled him with Bray Wyatt in the main event.

Sheamus, Rusev, King Barrett vs. Dolph Ziggler

A tweet put the show-off to face Sheamus, Barrett and Rusev in a three-on-one handicap elimination match. A cross-haired Stephanie has no sympathy to punish her employee.  A surprise superkick eliminated Barrett but the League of Nations showed no mental lapses despite the New Day’s social media jobs. Rusev gave a caught-in-rope Ziggler which Sheamus followed with the Brogue Kick to pick up the win.

Becky Lynch and Sasha Banks vs. Naomi and Tamina

Sasha and Becky have earned the jackpot as they will challenge the “genetically superior Diva” for the Divas championship. Before then, a tentative alliance of Becky and Sasha managed team BAD to tap out. Charlotte wasn’t waiting for anything when it came to making a statement, though. The Divas Champion was sitting at ringside and rushed to the ring after the match to dismantle both The Irish Lass Kicker and The Boss after the bell.

The New Day vs. Jericho and AJ Styles

The New Day has a couple of rough weeks which made them facing Jericho and Styles for a tag team championship match. But, thankfully the power of positivity prevailed to overcome the Codebreaker and high offensive moves from Styles on WWE Raw. Not only that, after the defeat shockingly Jericho has had enough of his tag partner. Despite Jericho’s performance in the match, WWE Universe cheered for the Phenomenal one and that led him to deliver a trifecta of Codebreakers after the bell on Styles, leaving him lying in the ring.

Kalisto vs. Tyler Breeze

Competing in a singles match after a couple of weeks, Kalisto found himself with the prince pretty and picked up a “prettier” win. Despite all the offenses to ground the US champion the “King of flight” flew high around the ring and finished off with a Salida Del Sol off the rope.

Ryback vs. Curtis Axel

The Big Guy is trying to campaign himself to get into a Wrestlemania match. And, this time, he stepped into the ring with his former tag team partner. The social outcasts tried with everything to distract the big guy but despite their rally outside the ring, Ryback shell-shocked the Axe-man to pavement.

Dean Ambrose vs. Bray Wyatt

The eater of the world is hungry for a signature win and who better would do justice than his former nemesis, Dean Ambrose? Wyatt was with a plane to put Ambrose into a whole before his championship match against Triple H and then going forward to Wrestlemania. But, that was the plan and no plan’s enough for the Lunatic Fringe inside the ring. Wyatt had to do nothing but to call his flock to stop Ambrose to hand him a DQ win. After the usual beatdown, they spared him as to make way for the King, Triple H.  But, you know Ambrose can come back just like that and that spare time was enough to hit The Game with the Dirty Deeds. WWE Raw closed with Ambrose holding the WWE title in his hand.
