The Beast was back on WWE Raw marking his territory on last night’s episode. He was in a punishing mode in order to seek his vengeance against the new number one contender for the Universal Championship. Check out what transpired on the show hosted by the Cajundome in Lafayette, Louisiana.
WWE Raw kicked off with the beast incarnate returning with a huge pop from the crowd. Paul Heyman went on to cut a promo on Samoa Joe who attacked him last week.
It did not take a long time for Joe to show up and start a brawl with Lesnar. The securities were called to resist but it did not have any effect on them. The General Manager Kurt Angle had no choice but to bring the entire Raw roster in the middle of the ring to get them separated, finally.
Following this segment, we got a match between Elias Samson and Dean Ambrose. This was a second match between the two of them as The Miz interrupted again. The distraction from the A-lister allowed The Drifter to roll Ambrose from behind to pick up the win.
Seth Rollins and Bray Wyatt had a confrontation on WWE Raw. In a bizarre way, the lights went out and Wyatt escaped from the ring once Rollins looked to get redemption from last week.
Alexa Bliss showed up in the ring to cut a heel promo but soon got interrupted by Nia Jax and all the other members of the Raw female roster. Emma made her return on WWE Raw after quite a while. Sasha Banks was the last one to show up creating a huge brawl inside the ring.
This set up a six-woman tag team match with Alexa, Nia and Emma squaring off against Dana Brooke, Mickie and Sasha Banks. In the end, Bliss left Emma high and dry inside the ring allowing The Boss to lock in the Bank Statement and pick up the win.
The Miz got a match against Heath Slater and Rhyno with a Bear as his partner. The crowd loved this segment as the bear later turned out to be none other than Ambrose. He hit the Dirty Deeds and let Rhyno take the pinfall against his own partner of the match.
From the Cruiserweight division, Neville defeated Rich Swann via disqualification. Cedric Alexander pinned Noam Dar via a Lumber-check. Big Cass was attacked on Raw, once again but he was able to compete. However, they were defeated by the team of Gallows-Anderson.
In the main event, Sheamus-Cesaro defended their WWE Raw tag team titles against Hardy Boyz in a 2-out of 3 falls match. Sheamus hit a Brogue kick to get the first fall whereas Matt neutralised it after hitting Twist of Fate on Cesaro. Later, all the four men brawled outside the ring forcing the referee to call for the bell. A disqualified contest ended the night.
