Sami Zayn def. Rusev
Sami Zayn had his losing streak going on as of late and he had this match against Rusev in a must-win situation prior to his Payback battle against Kevin Owens. With Lana back at his side, Rusev carried a numbers advantage but he never really could use it properly. Rusev locked in the accolade momentarily but Zayn slipped out of the lock and rolled up Rusev for the win. After the victory Owens ambushed him from behind on his way up the ramp, leaving him in a heap as he had so many times before.
