An injury scare broke out heading into this week’s episode of WWE Raw which was further confirmed on the show. Dominik Mysterio appeared with his arm in a sling on the April 22 episode and told Damian Priest that he was banged up. Hence, he brought in Santos Escobar to team with JD McDonagh later on the show against Ricochet and Andrade. Priest didn’t like the idea but told Escobar to handle things.
In an update from Fightful Select, it was confirmed that Dominik Mysterio’s injury was legit, and they have not heard of a timetable for his return. It was also informed by the source that Mysterio had been pulled from WWE’s recent European tour due to the injury. His last match took place on the April 15 edition of WWE Raw, where he lost to Andrade.
With that, this is the second big blow that came to Judgment Day. Last week, Rhea Ripley, announced that she would be out of action due to a shoulder injury and thus she vacated the Women’s World Championship. Becky Lynch then won a battle royal on WWE Raw, this week to become the new champion.
