The April 3 episode of WWE Raw brought the fallouts from Wrestlemania 39 containing some returns and heel-turns. The episode to sum up the biggest weekend of the year set the stage for next week. For now, it’s been declared that the Women’s Tag Team Championships will be on the line on the show alongside Matt Riddle who is set to return to action.
During this week’s episode of WWE Raw which was the after WrestleMania 39 show, a number-one contender’s match took place, where Liv Morgan & Raquel Rodriguez faced Damage CTRL (Dakota Kai & IYO SKY). They eventually defeated the heel team sans Bayley to secure a championship match opportunity.

Liv & Raquel will now face Becky Lynch & WWE Hall of Famer Lita for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship on next week’s WWE Raw. Byron Saxton then interviewed Becky & Lita about this upcoming title match where Becky said she & Lita will make these Titles look prestigious, unlike the dull phase of the titles over the past several months.

Becky also stated that the journey will begin by defeating Liv & Raquel on next week’s WWE Raw which marks their first title defense since winning the gold on the February 27 episode by defeating Damage CTRL. According to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful, the original plan for the contender’s match was something else,
“Originally tonight was supposed to feature a couple of triple threat matches that would serve as a tournament for a RAW Women’s Title shot. They were scrapped very late in favor of the tag title contender match.”
Speaking of the WWE Raw Women’s Championship, Bianca Belair appeared in front of the live audience to be confronted by new SmackDown Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley. Rhea claimed that Bianca is the luckiest woman in WWE because she didn’t choose her for WrestleMania 39 after Royal Rumble win. Ripley also said she will beat Belair one day to end the segment.
In more announcements for the April 10 episode of WWE Raw, Matt Riddle will compete against The Miz in a singles encounter. Riddle returned this week to take out The Miz in a MIZ TV segment. The physical altercation set up this match that will be Riddle’s return match after several months.
