The back-and-forth bout included several highly dramatic spots outside of the ring near the fans while a frog splash from Ford was also performed where he almost reached near the Money in the Bank briefcases hanging high above the ring.
Ultimately, The Profits didn’t receive a clean victory like a pin or submission on WWE Raw but The Usos ultimately lost the match via count-out. Thus, Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins officially earned a future shot at the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championships. WWE didn’t announce when and where that title match will take place. But it’s possible that the match would be booked for Money in the Bank 2022 PLE.
WWE Raw: Roman Reigns Receives Challenge For A Championship Match
New feuds started on this week’s WWE Raw
The team of Riddle and Shinsuke Nakamura won a Tag Team Championship Contenders match on a recent edition of WWE Raw by defeating The Usos. But then an injury angle surrounding Shinsuke’s ankle was aired. So, it appears that WWE is intending to a new championship feud with a new pair of contenders for The Bloodline as Nakamura is expected to be out of action for some time.
Meanwhile, Riddle mentioned in his promo on this week’s WWE Raw hinted that he is going after the leader of The Bloodline instead of his cousins. The Original Bro wanted revenge for the attacks performed on Randy Orton and Shinsuke Nakamura by winning the Undisputed WWE Universal Title from Roman Reigns. There’s no update on whether that match would be booked for Money in the Bank.
Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode, aka The Dirty Dawgs also returned to WWE TV on this week’s WWE Raw for the first time in several months. They featured in an altercation with MVP that was followed by Ziggler super-kicking MVP off the stage. Omos and MVP would now be feuding with Ziggler and Roode. Being introduced as the two babyfaces, chances are high that The Dirty Dawgs may also go after The Usos in the near future.
