With Road to Wrestlemania 39 in full force, you never really know who would show up on WWE Raw programming. In one such circumstance, legendary Trish Stratus showed up to have a reunion with her bestie Lita and also help her to become a champion in the WWE.
In the main event of this week’s WWE Raw, Beck Lynch and Lita competed against Dakota Kai and IYO SKY of DAMAGE CTRL for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles with Bayley standing at ringside to provide backup to her buddies. With Bayley constantly interfering, Trish Stratus finally appeared to even the odds.

After weeks of rumors, the seven-time women’s champion headed into the ring amid a huge round of applause from the fans. She took out Bayley with the pendant Chic Kick which allowed Becky to take care of Kai with the Dis-Arm-Her submission. Lita got the pinfall win over SKY after connecting with the top-rope Lita-sault move. The trio of Trish, Lita, and Becky celebrated with the titles to send WWE Raw off the air.

A title change always rumored on WWE Raw before Wrestlemania
A title change was earlier speculated so that Becky and Lita could feature in a marquee match at Wrestlemania 39 while defending their women’s tag team titles. At this point, Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler are the favorites to be challengers. Rousey already took a shot at the former tag champs on Twitter to indicate that she’s coming for the titles.
Brock Lesnar vs. Omos set for Wrestlemania
Also on WWE Raw, Brock Lesnar vs. Omos matchup was confirmed for Wrestlemania 39. This came after Omos laid down a challenge to Lesnar, last week. Lesnar then resurfaced, this week to be a guest on MVP’s VIP Lounge and quickly accepted the challenge.

The match confirmation also called for a celebration as MVP and Lesnar raised a taste. Due to the drink being strong, MVP accidentally spat it on Lesnar. An irate beast then proceeded to take out MVP with an F-5 before leaving the ring.
Reports from Ringside News suggest that Stone Cold Steve Austin was the original WrestleMania 39 opponent for Brock Lesnar but The Texas Rattlesnake turned down the match. Hence, officials decided to pit Omos from the WWE Raw roster to be Lesnar’s ‘Mania opponent.
