WWE Raw continued the spree of new championships getting unveiled regularly with the introduction of a new title for the women’s roster. The Smackdown Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley was presented with a brand new Women’s World Championship on the show.
During the opening segment of the June 12 episode of WWE Raw, WWE Official Adam Pearce kicked things off and walked out to the ring, with the gold. The belt design resembles the new World Heavyweight Championship that Seth Rollins won back at Night of Champions by defeating AJ Styles in the finale of the tournament.

Rhea Ripley was then handed the title on WWE Raw and the champion was quite excited about receiving the new championship. His on-screen love Dominik was quick to join her in the ring for a celebration. But eventually, the good time for them didn’t last longer as Cody Rhodes interrupted and challenged Dominik to a match at Money in the Bank, next month.
The new championship crowning on WWE Raw comes as an aftermath of what happened last week on Smackdown. The Raw Women’s Champion Asuka was given a brand new WWE Women’s Championship, replacing her actual title. The belt resembled the new Undisputed WWE Championship given to Roman Reigns following his 1000-day completion with the Universal Title.
Judgment Day members booked in MITB matches on WWE Raw
Meanwhile, the Women’s World Champion on WWE Raw is the only member of the Judgment Day who’s not booked in a title match at Money in the Bank, so far. Rollins agreed to defend his WWE World Heavyweight Championship at the upcoming PLE against the leader of the group Finn Balor to make the match, official.
The gimmick event in London, England will also see Damian Priest compete in the Men’s Money in the Bank Ladder match after he defeated Matt Riddle in a qualifier on this week’s WWE Raw. Plus, it was also confirmed that Dominik Mysterio (with Rhea Ripley) will face Cody Rhodes at next month’s event in a singles match.
It appears accompanying Dom in this match will be Ripley’s role in the PLE. She won the Smackdown Women’s Title from Charlotte Flair at Wrestlemania 39 Night Two. Her first title defense went down at Backlash against Zeina Vega.
