Following Smackdown’s grand season premiere, last week, it’s time for WWE Raw to throw a celebration, and what better way to do so rather than bringing in perhaps the greatest faction of all time? DX will be in the house on this week’s red brand premiere on the USA Network as the headliner.
The main event of the night will witness the United States Championship on the line as the champion Bobby Lashley will defend against Seth Rollins. Plus, led by Roman Reigns, The Bloodline will be on WWE Raw season premiere that takes place at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.

The legendary D-Generation X is celebrating the 25th anniversary of the group and they’re all set to make a special appearance on WWE Raw to entertain their fanbase. It’s unclear as to which members of the stable will be in attendance to celebrate but a graphic was released to promote the group that indicates that both Triple H and Shawn Michaels will be there along with X-Pac and Road Dogg.
The group was last seen in 2019 when WWE inducted them into the Hall of Fame. Just a few months before that, the Triple H and Michaels teamed up to pick up a big win under the DX banner against The Undertaker and Kane at WWE’s first Crown Jewel event in Saudi Arabia.
D-Generation X was first assembled onscreen in the summer of 1997 and they got the official name in October of that year. The first members of the stable consisted of Shawn Michaels, Triple H, the late Chyna, and Rick Rude on WWE Raw. Triple H and HBK later recruited Billy Gunn, Road Dogg, and X-Pac after Chyna and Rude left the WWE.

WWE Raw Preview (10/10/22): The Bloodline to appear
Coming from DX, we have to talk about the greatest faction of this era in WWE and that brings us to The Bloodline. Led by Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns, the group has arguably been the most dominant faction in the wrestling business today and without their presence, the season premiere of WWE Raw would be incomplete.
Hence, it’s been advertised that the October 10, 2022, episode of WWE Raw will have each member of The Bloodline onboard. Alongside Reigns, The Usos, Solo Sikoa, Sami Zayn, and Paul Heyman will be in Brooklyn to make a special appearance on the red brand. No update is there on whether they’ll be seen in action on the night.
WWE Raw 2022 Season Premiere: Triple H Returning As Full-Time On-Screen Authority Figure
A huge United States Championship match has also been added to the October 10 edition of WWE Raw where United States Champion Bobby Lashley will defend his belt against Seth “Freakin’” Rollins. This match comes at a time when the challenger is devastated by his loss against Matt Riddle inside a Fight Pit.
On the other hand, Lashley has been a fighting champion since winning the title from Austin Theory at the Money in the Bank. Lashley retained his title, last week against Mustafa Ali. Soon after the match was over, he was blindsided by Rollins with two Carb stomps, one on the canvas and one on his title. Later on the show, Lashley was checked on by medical personnel when he threw a challenge to Rollins to set up this match.
On the September 19 episode of WWE Raw, Lashley collided against Rollins for the first time over the US Title. During that match, Riddle came out through the ramp to provide a distraction to Rollins. Lashley capitalized with a spear to win that match. It’ll be interesting to see whether Lashley can pick up a clean pinfall win over The Visionary or not.
