WWE Raw Preview (16/01/23): What’s next for Bobby Lashley?
Bobby Lashley made his return to WWE Raw, last week after nearly missing a month as he was serving a suspension handed by WWE Official Adam Pearce. It was on the December 12 episode when he attacked a number of on-screen officials including Adam Pearce following a loss to Seth Rollins.
Pearce fired Lashley to begin a storyline to write him off WWE Raw. Later on, it was clarified by Pearce that the former WWE Champion wasn’t fired and that he was just serving a suspension. The period ended, last allowing him to find his way back to the WWE on the January 9 episode.
Lashley laid out United States Champion Austin Theory upon arriving at the ring. Thereafter, he also declared his entry into the Royal Rumble match. In a backstage segment, Lashley was also approached by MVP for a Hurt Business reunion which was turned down since it wasn’t a good time. We wonder whether the All-Mighty will listen to the pledge of MVP, tonight.

WWE Raw Preview (16/01/23): Title Match waiting for Judgment Day
As per an announcement from Adam Pearce, a Tag Team Turmoil match to crown the Number-One Contenders for WWE Raw Tag Team Championships went down last week. This was the first time in months that WWE specifically mentioned the red brand Tag Team Championships since the unification of the Raw and SmackDown Tag Team Titles in May 2022.
In that main event match, The Judgment Day’s Finn Balor (later Dominik) and Damien Priest defeated The O.C., Cedric Alexander & Shelton Benjamin, Alpha Academy, and The Street Profits to earn a shot at WWE Raw Tag Team Titles held by The Usos. In the final moments of the match, Dominik Mysterio replaced Balor as the latter was dealing with an injury at the hands of Otis.
That being said, Judgment Day vs. The Usos will be happening but the question remains when. Will the challengers choose tonight to have the match or they will be waiting until Royal Rumble for it?

WWE Raw Preview (16/01/23): Alexa Bliss closer to join Bray Wyatt?
Alexa Bliss wasn’t able to not capture WWE Raw Women’s Championship from Bianca Belair on the first episode of 2022. The match was disqualified after Bray Wyatt’s imagery made her go berserk and launch an attack on Belair as well as the official present in the ring.
The attack has since sent Belair out of action but it’s certain that she is coming for payback that should set up a rematch against Bliss, possibly at the Royal Rumble PPV. Plus, Bliss may not have any other option but to join Wyatt to re-form their faction as the continuous distraction from him continues each Monday night.
