Builds for Royal Rumble 2022 continues on WWE Raw where the current challenger would respond to the verbal humiliation suffered by the champion. The Women’s Champion will also address the fact that she now has a new challenger after overcoming the feud against Liv Morgan.
The storyline between the Grit Couple vs. IT Couple will also continue on the show where we also expect some sort of fallouts after the sudden heel-turn of Nikki ASH by pounding on her former tag team partner Rhea Ripley. These and more are expected when WWE Raw airs this week from the BOK Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

En route to the first-ever WWE Championship bout between Bobby Lashley and Brock Lesnar, the two had an in-ring confrontation, last week. Lesnar showed off his comedian style to upstage the All-Mighty with ease. The Beast Incarnate seemed absolutely not bothered about the reckless force coming into his way at The Rumble.
Over on this week’s WWE Raw, Lesnar could be absent after two consecutive appearances but Bobby Lashley and MVP will respond to the jokes made in Lashley’s face by the WWE Champion as WWE.com offered the following confirmation,
“The Conqueror spat those words back in the face of The All Mighty, cracking jokes at the expense of Lashley and writing him off as just a wannabe. This Monday, Lashley responds to Lesnar’s comments and looks ahead to the colossal showdown set to take place at Royal Rumble in St. Louis, Missouri. Will The All Mighty be as cordial this time when talking about the WWE Champion?”

WWE Raw Preview (17/01/22): Future of Team RK-Bro
Team RK-Bro lost their WWE Raw tag team championships to Team Alpha Academy. Chad Gable and Otis made a huge statement on their way to the first title win as Otis pinned the legendary Randy Orton to secure his title. WWE has now announced that we will find what’s next for the former champs on tonight’s show. They’re determined to have a bounce-back in order to recapture the titles.
In an in-ring segment, Sarah Schreiber interviewed Nikki ASH and Rhea Ripley in the ring. After weeks of tension between the former WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions, things got physical between the two of them. Nikki was willing to challenge WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Carmella and Queen Zelina Vega to a rematch, but Ripley wasn’t interested.
They shared a hug before parting ways, but Nikki then pounced on Ripley with a flurry of strikes and then left with a smile on her face as fans booed her. Nikki posed on the entranceway and stated almost superheroes need no friends. With this, a new rivalry has begun which will go forward on WWE Raw.
Doudrop vs. WWE RAW Women’s Champion Becky Lynch has been official for the WWE Royal Rumble 2022 edition. In the main event from last week’s Raw, Doudrop became the new number-one contender by winning a Triple Threat over Liv Morgan and Bianca Belair. Lynch attacked Belair as she was going for the pin on Morgan to help Doudrop win the match by delivering a second rope splash on Morgan.
After the match, Lynch entered the ring for a handshake, but she slapped Doudrop instead. Doudrop then dodged the Man-Handle Slam and sent Lynch retreat to the floor. As per WWE’s announcement, Becky Lynch will be present, live on this week’s WWE Raw to address the newly crowned challenger to her championship.
