A couple of weeks ago on WWE Raw, Lita returned to fend off the offenses from Damage CTRL members Dakota Kai and IYO SKY so that Becky Lynch could defeat Bayley in a steel cage match. Then last week, she again returned to WWE TV with Lynch to make a challenge for a match for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships held by Kai and SKY.
After initial hesitations, it was actually Bayley who accepted the title match challenge, much to the displeasure of Kai and SKY. With that, the legendary Lita will be back in action after almost a year since challenging Becky Lynch for WWE Raw Women’s champion at last year’s Elimination Chamber. As for Kai and SKY, the duo last defended their titles on the December 16 Smackdown against Liv Morgan and Tegan Nox.

WWE Raw Preview (27/02/23): Asuka vs. Carmella
Asuka became the winner of the 2023 women’s Elimination Chamber match to confirm her ticket to Wrestlemania 39. The match also featured Nikki Cross, Carmella, Liv Morgan, Raquel Rodriguez, and Natalya. The win came for Asuka after she made Carmella tap with the Asuka Lock submission hold.
For all the right reasons, Carmella has been unhappy over tapping out to Asuka and she dared the Empress of Tomorrow to challenge into a match. Adam Pearce was more than happy to make the match official and it was announced for the latest upcoming episode of WWE Raw.
WWE Raw Preview (27/02/23): Miz TV Wrestlemania edition
Getting ambushed by Seth “Freakin’” Rollins won’t stop The Miz’s Wrestlemania aspirations. Last week, during their anniversary celebration, Miz had Maryse giving him a surprise gift which he will apparently reveal on this week’s WWE Raw. While nothing regarding the gift has been revealed, the upcoming segment is being promoted as a Wrestlemania edition of Miz TV, a must-see.
A few weeks ago, Carmella defeated Piper Niven, Mia Yim, and Candice LeRae in a Fatal-4-Way Elimination Chamber Qualifying Match. Mella threw Niven outside the ring, taking advantage of the chaos who was otherwise favorite to pick up the win.
In a backstage segment, Niven seemed angry over the lost opportunity and she blamed Yim and Candice for it. After putting down Yim on last week’s WWE Raw, now Niven is coming after Candice in a fresh match booked for tonight.
