Randy Orton has been in the WWE as a pro-wrestler for a long time. He has already spent two decades in the company but he still continues to be a top-level performer on Monday Night Raw who performs on a regular basis. Fans continue to wonder about his retirement but he’s just not willing to hang up his boots.
Randy Orton seems that his longevity in the industry will be the foundation of his legacy. Appearing on The Ring Wrestling Show podcast, the legendary wrestler was asked about what he considers to be his own marking on WWE.

He replied that as long as he wants to be inside the squared circle, he wants to be most remembered for his capabilities,
“When I came in, if you were over, that meant that everybody in that arena was wearing your T-shirt. If you were over, that meant you were Shawn Michaels, The Undertaker, Triple H, Stone Cold Steve Austin, John Cena, that’s over. Randy Orton ain’t over. I’ve had more matches on TV than any other WWE Superstar in the history of the company. That’s my legacy, the longevity.”

Randy Orton lessened performing in shows since he’s in his 40s
Randy Orton also spoke about how people think that he’s over given that now he’s in his 40s and performing on a regular level does affect his body. However, he’s been around for such a long time, and for the WWE Universe, he’s become a household. Fans are more than over with The Viper which is yet another reason that he doesn’t want to leave.
Moreover, WWE allows him to wrestle on a selected number of nights in a calendar year which is unlike any other member of the regular roster. Randy Orton, 41, recently revealed the number of shows he has to work in a year.
WrestleFeed quoted the 14-time world champion, “Schedule-wise, I think I’m maybe one of the only guys that have an amount of dates that I’m contractually obligated to do. And that’s 80, 80 shows a year.”
Randy Orton is one of the most consistent workers in the WWE for the past 20 years and is only two world title wins away to tie up with another legend in Ric Flair. Currently, the multi-time world champion is involved in a storyline with his Team RK-Bro partner Riddle.
