AJ Styles competed against R-Truth in a match to pick up an easy win. Truth used John Cena’s Five Knuckle Shuffle and went for an Attitude Adjustment but missed. AJ countered by locking in the Calf Crusher for the win.
WWE Raw Results (25/01/21): Gauntlet For US Title Shot
Gauntlet Match for a WWE United States Title Shot was next on WWE Raw with the lineup of Riddle vs. The Hurt Business. Riddle pinned Shelton Benjamin as Cedric distracted his own tag partner. Riddle immediately tapped out MVP with a Heel Hook and then picked up a roll-up win over Cedric Alexander to become the new number-one contender for the United States Championship.
WWE Hall of Famer Edge appeared on WWE Raw via a prerecorded message to inform that he’d be entering the Royal Rumble match, this Sunday.
WWE Raw main event featured Alexa Bliss vs Asuka in a one-on-one capacity. Bliss fought out of the Asuka Lock and grabbed Asuka with the Mandible Claw to inch closer to the victory. But suddenly Randy Orton appeared from behind and dropped Bliss with an RKO. The match was disqualified as Orton stood over Bliss to end the show.
