Roman Reigns vs. Kevin Owens (US championship match)
The main event o thef WWE Raw was decided by Stephanie McMahon after Jeri-KO went to her complaining about the shark cage stipulation. So, Stephanie allowed KO to have a match for Reigns’ US title. In between the match, Jericho interfered allowing KO to connect with a DDT but Reigns kicked out. He hit the senton splash immediately only for another near fall. The ending saw Rollins coming down to the ring to equalize Jericho with a pedigree to the floor. Reigns connected with a spear as a result of this to pick up the win and retain his title. After the match, Rollins hit Owens with a pedigree and Reigns hit Jericho with a spear to end the last WWE Raw of 2016.
