His opponent is going to be The Miz who previously experiences two world championship wins of his own.

As noted above, Seth Rollins won the World Heavyweight Championship by defeating AJ Styles at Night of Champions. The two then teamed up this week on Raw against Damian Priest and Dominik Mysterio of The Judgment Day in the main event non-title tag team match. No hint was there about who Rollins’ first challenger was going to be for the world championship belt.

In the meantime, Seth Rollins appeared during the latest edition of WWE’s The Bump on YouTube and spoke about the future of the world title. He admittedly wants to defend the title across the globe irrespective of superstars from SmackDown, RAW, or NXT. He doesn’t care about defending the title in a stipulated environment, too.
“I want the competition,” Seth Rollins said. “I want anybody from any brand. I don’t care if it’s SmackDown, Raw, NXT. I don’t care if it’s from anywhere across the globe. I want people to come through that curtain.”
“I want them to challenge me, whether it’s a shot at the title, whether it’s the title itself, whether it’s a tag match, six-man, cage match, doesn’t matter to me. I want the fight, I want the excitement.”
