Eva Marie was released from WWE Raw and her contract with the company amid another massive round of budget cuts. She could have enjoyed only a few months following her return to the WWE. The company never delivered an official statement regarding the release.
Overall, 18 superstars have been let go from the WWE contract and they are – Karrion Kross, Scarlett Bordeaux, “B-Fab” Briana Brandy, Gran Metalik, Lince Dorado, Eva Marie, Keith Lee, Mia Yim, Nia Jax, Harry Smith, Oney Lorcan, Franky Monet, Ember Moon, Trey Baxter, Jessi Kamea, Jeet Rama, Zayda Ramier, and Katrina Cortez.

During her return to the WWE, earlier this year, Eva Marie was paired up with former WWE NXT UK superstars Piper Niven, now going by the name of Doudrop on Raw. The pink-haired diva made the UK-native her bodyguard which escalated the main roster call-up for the latter. Now, she is enjoying her solo days on the red brand on her own.

Doudrop has been left heartbroken with the news of the release of Eva Marie alongside 17 other names,
“Honestly, I’m absolutely heartbroken because that woman is a big sister to me,” Doudrop told in an interview with Metro. “Behind the scenes, she is the nicest person you will ever meet… Every single person, she’s got a funny story with them. I just love her so much.”
Doudrop also wished that that Eva Marie’s time with the WWE hasn’t ended. She wants to see her former on-screen mentor return to WWE in the near future.
“I hope it’s not the last we’ve seen of her in WWE, I think she’s amazing,” she added. “When you see her in real life, you’re like… you’re amazing at being a heel. But time will tell – who knows what will happen in this crazy world?”
Back in June, Eva Marie returned to the WWE after a five-year hiatus to pursue a film career. To everybody’s shock, the company paired her up with Doudrop in a partnership that was bound to end within sometimes. It eventually happened, this summer after Doudrop disobeyed Marie went her separate way. She also defeated Marie in a singles match at Summerslam to reign supreme on her own.
