The Judgment Day stable had become one current top feature of WWE Raw programming over the course of the last several months. WWE Hall of Famer Edge, Damian Priest, and Rhea Ripley was part of this group who promised to dominate the territory for months to follow. WWE has also teased that more superstars might just intend to join the trio to make them even stronger but eventually, Edge was kicked out of the group.
Ever since his miraculous in-ring return in the 2020 Royal Rumble, we have seen the ‘Grit’ version of Edge over WWE Raw/Smackdown but things are different with his leadership under the Judgment Day stable. She was one of the pioneers of women’s wrestling at a time when the female superstars were not given much of a focus. Away from wrestling, Beth is watching what Edge has been doing with Rhea Ripley and Damian Priest acting as his muscles on WWE Raw.

Top WWE Raw Superstar issues challenge to Beth Phoenix
Rhea Ripley was revealed to be the third member of Judgment Day at WrestleMania Backlash PLE in early May. This led to Beth Phoenix reacting to her inclusion in the faction and she was disappointed with the move. While speaking to 99.5 WKDQ, The Nightmare then talked about Phoenix’s reaction. Ripley said if the former WWE Divas Champion doesn’t agree with her then she might just have to fight her in the future.
“I have not spoken to Beth Phoenix, but I have already seen quite a few of her posts on Twitter and I am not sure whether she is very happy about me joining The Judgment Day,” the former WWE Raw Women’s Champion added.
“So Beth is gonna have to put her emotions aside and be on our side pretty much, or she’s gonna have to fight me. Beth Phoenix is my dream opponent and if she disagrees with what we’re saying, I wouldn’t mind stepping in the ring with her and settling it once and for all.”
Edge and Beth Phoenix worked together in a storyline for the first time. After making appearances on multiple WWE Raw episodes, the Grit Couple defeated the IT Couple – The Miz and Maryse in a tag team match at the Royal Rumble. With Ripley’s shot at Phoenix, we wonder whether WWE would book Phoenix in a match against Ripley. Without a doubt, a collision between the two powerhouses will be a mouth-watering bout for the fans.
