Via the ongoing episodes of WWE Raw and Smackdown, the card for Royal Rumble 2023 is getting shaped up on the weekly basis. Several names have recently been added to the Men’s and Women’s Royal Rumble matches while a major tag team title match was also possibly teased for the event set within three weeks’ time.
Judgment Day could be champions at Royal Rumble
The Judgment Day faction has been showing its brutal side on WWE Raw for a long time now as they quickly rose through the ranks in WWE’s singles as well as tag team divisions. Last night, Dominik Mysterio, Finn Balor, and Damian Priest guided their stable to secure a future title shot against Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions The Usos.
Royal Rumble 2023: Spoiler On A Former Champion’s Return To WWE
In the main event of WWE Raw, a tag team turmoil was set up for the number one contender’s spot in the Undisputed Tag Team Championships held by The Usos. Damian Priest and Finn Balor took on Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson in the opening match and were successful in defeating The OC members.
Judgment Day picked up a huge win on WWE Raw
Shelton Benjamin and Cedric Alexander were next in line to join the match and were also defeated by Balor and Priest. The Alpha Academy was out, next but at this point, Balor was declared medically disqualified to compete in the match. Henceforth, Dominik Mysterio was declared as the replacement, and Adam Pearce had no problem, either with the decision.
The team of the Priest and Dominik then proceeded to defeat Alpha Academy as well as The Street Profits to ultimately win the melee. Dom shocked everyone by pinning Montez Ford to win the match and thereby secure this mega win and a title shot at the Usos. The two teams confronted on the ramp to send WWE Raw off the air.
