Within a week from now, Raquel Rodriguez will get another shot at the Women’s World Championship on WWE Raw. This week, on WWE’s flagship show, Raquel was seen gunning for another opportunity to the title held by Rhea Ripley and she will receive it without any further delay after Dominik Mysterio cost the latest bygone match at Payback premium live event.
Over on the weekly episode of WWE Raw, Rodriguez was seen having a chat with Adam Pearce, where an agreement was made about an upcoming title match and to keep Dominik out of the equation. Later that night, Rodriguez bulldozed one-half of the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions in a singles contest after which she had a special announcement.

WWE Raw: Raquel Rodriguez getting title rematch, next week
After the match, Rodriguez announced that she would face Rhea Ripley for the Women’s World Championship on the September 11 episode of WWE Raw. In this match, Dominik Mysterio will be banned from ringside so that he can’t interfere in favor of his MAMI.
At this past weekend’s WWE Payback Premium Live Event, Raquel Rodriguez challenged Rhea Ripley for the WWE Women’s Championship in a highly anticipated match. When the challenger was seemingly closing in on a victory, Dominik Mysterio interfered in the match and distracted Rodriguez, which allowed Ripley to hit a massive Riptide for the pin to win.

Heading into this week’s WWE Raw, an irate Rodriguez made it clear in an interview with Byron Saxton that she will go after Dominik Mysterio for his actions from Payback 2023,
“It is but all I have to say that it’s not over and this is for Liv, this is for me and it’s not over. Tonight was just a little taste, Dom will get his, even if I have to give it to him. And Rhea? She’s going to get hers too.”
Now that the title rematch has been made, official, it’s evident that this feud will continue to unfold on WWE Raw. Ripley has been in possession of the Women’s World Title since defeating Charlotte Flair at Wrestlemania 39. Back then, that title was used to be known as the SmackDown Women’s Championship.
