Kevin Owens is one of the four WWE Raw superstars who will be competing for the WWE Championship at WWE Day 1. Ahead of that title match, he took to Twitter to comment how one move from his WWE RAW match, this week was painful.
Owens retweeted a gif of when he went for a cannonball dive off the apron onto Bobby Lashley during the singles contest from WWE Raw. He missed his target and hit the arena floor with a hard thud. He immediately rolled around the ringside in pain.
“I often get asked what hurt me the most throughout my career and there’s 2 specific things that always come to mind but as of last night, there’s a new answer to add to that list because for some reason, this absolutely destroyed me,” Owens wrote with the post.

As reported earlier, this past episode of WWE Raw was mostly centered around Bobby Lashley who eventually got added to the WWE title match at January’s pay-per-view event. Now the champion Big will have to defend his title against Lashley, Owens, and Seth Rollins in a Fatal-4-Way match.

Day 1 main event changed on WWE Raw
In the opening segment of WWE Raw, WWE officials Adam Pearce and Sonya Deville announced that if Lashley can defeat Big E, Owens and Rollins, in different one-on-one competitions on the same night, he would be added to the match. MVP and Lashley quickly accepted the challenge.
Then Bobby Lashley would go on to defeat Kevin Owens by submission and Seth Rollins in a no-disqualification contest, respectively. In the final moments of WWE Raw main event match against WWE Champion Big E, MVP got involved and attacked E’s knee, allowing Lashley to hit a spear and get the pinfall victory. The show then went off the air with MVP and Lashley celebrating in the ring as the other three men were laid out.
