WWE Raw is taking us through the post-Wrestlemania 39 season and they’re banking on star powers while heading into Backlash. Generally, the part-timers go back to their hiatus once the show of shows gets over but this year, the situation is pretty different. Two international WWE PLEs are scheduled, next month and that should explain why the company is getting its decks stacked with bigger names.
That being said, Trish Stratus has been confirmed to appear on the latest upcoming episode of WWE Raw. This comes after Trish turned on Becky Lynch and turned heel in the process, last week. This was one of the shocking elements to kick things off for the post-WrestleMania season.
Over on the April 10 episode of WWE Raw, Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez became the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions, by defeating Becky Lynch and Trish Stratus. Liv Pinned Trish in order to secure the pinfall win after which Trish shocked the WWE Universe by pouncing on Becky and begin a new feud that should produce a dream match in the future.
Later on the show, Trish denied making any comment on her actions but it turns out that fans won’t have to wait long to hear her explanations. It’s now been confirmed by the WWE that the former seven-time women’s tag team champion will be present on WWE Raw to explain why she attacked The MAN. Brock Lesnar to respond to Cody Rhodes on WWE Raw
Also last week on WWE Raw, Cody Rhodes delivered a strong message to the Beast Incarnate following the latter’s attack on him in the post-Mania episode. After a furious promo directed at Brock Lesnar. He called out Lesnar for not being happy with his WrestleMania spot before challenging him to a match at WWE Backlash 2023.
Now, Brock Lesnar has been announced to make an appearance on WWE Raw, this week to respond to the challenge. Plus, Bobby Lashley will take on United States Champion Austin Theory. While nothing is confirmed, this should be a non-title match.
