After waiting in line to arrive on the main roster, Veer Mahaan was converted into meme material on the internet. He finally made his debut on RAW, the night after WrestleMania 38. As expected, he was portrayed as a dominant heavyweight, capable of making a statement as soon as he showed up on the red brand.

After squashing a few developmental talents, Veer Mahaan won a short feud with The Mysterios, Rey, and Dominik. Then he was kept on the sidelines. In between, Triple H became the head of WWE Creative after Vince McMahon announced his retirement. Since then, the new Chief Content Officer has made several changes to the TV product and clearly, the Indian-origin superstar isn’t on the list. He is one of those names who was pulled off TV.

According to the reports of Fightful, they haven’t heard “there aren’t significant imminent creative plans for Veer Mahaan as of right now.” He has not competed in a match and has not been seen, all together on WWE television since the August 15th episode of Raw. On that night, he defeated Beaux Keller within two minutes and that match supposedly ended his first stint on the main roster.

Veer Mahaan reigniting his tag team with Sanga

Back in the day, Sanga was paired with Veer Mahaan on NXT and it appears the two have once again formed an alliance. As speculations around the two Indian Superstars continued, the duo recently reunited at a recent NXT house show in Citrus Springs, Florida. Pictures from the event went viral on the internet as the duo took on Andre Chase and possibly Bodhi Hayward in a tag team action.

By the looks of it, it appears that the Indus Sher – Veer Mahaan and Sanga have reformed the tag team, but this time without having Malcolm Bivens by their side as he is now in AEW. Originally, the Indus-Sher tag team was formed in NXT in 2020 the two used to be respectively known as Rinku Singh and Saurav Gurjar. Their names were altered as WWE wanted character changes, down the line.

Singh was repackaged as Veer Mahaan as he moved to the main roster in 2021, forming a faction with Shanky and Jinder Mahal while Gurjar remained in NXT. He had been renamed Sanga in NXT and re-debuted as the bodyguard of Grayson Waller, earlier this year but that stint was short-lived. Now with Triple H in charge of WWE’s booking from July onward, he revived Indus Sher and those two will probably get included in the NXT tag team division.
